This is a 2023 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Anatomy of a Murder by Duke Ellington. This LP is the soundtrack album for Anatomy of a Murder (1959), an American courtroom drama film produced and directed by Otto Preminger. It has a musical score by Duke Ellington, who also appears in the film. Ellington's score won three Grammy Awards in 1959, for Best Performance by a Dance Band, Best Musical Composition First Recorded and Released in 1959 and Best Sound Track Album. In 2012, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
